Join us for a combination of off-road exploration with magnificent views of our beautiful island and getting the opportunity to learn about traditions, crafting and cooking like in the old days at the unique Lasinthos Eco park. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel to start meandering up the mountains with views of
the coastline to end up for a visit of a small mountain village called Mochos where we have time for a little wonder.

After we move along the many olive tree groves where you can find Herbs and wildflowers at the roadside which are used from many generations for their healing power, until we reach the Aposelemi Dam. Following dirt tracks we make our way up for a visit at the Monastery of Vidiani with its Life giving spring before we reach the Lasinthos Eco park.

Here you have the chance of getting active yourself as you get introduced to the making of pottery and woodcarving, after you can have a stroll thru the little zoo of Cretan animals before you pick vegetables for the cooking lesson following. Watching the local products being prepared in a unique way, will give you the appetite for the included meal after, with as much local wine and water you would like.

Refreshed we will continue our journey to an olive oil factory where you learn about the process of making the oil which was used for your meal earlier.
As we continue driving, we reach the village of Krassi, which is famous for a 2,000-year-old plane tree and has a natural spring water source before we head back to your hotel. This is a day full of many surprises and the excitement is second to none, you certainly won’t
