Crete is a wonderful and varied island with so much to offer to its many visitors and inhabitants alike. Our aim is to provide a fun and enthusiastic introduction to its raw and natural beauty, traditions, trades, history and gastronomy as well as modern day life.

Safari Club started in 2002 operating one route for the British market and have since achieved to become the number one tour on the island of Crete according to TripAdvisor reviews. Over time we have expanded and now offer several routes across the island and also include tours in French, German and Dutch, each operated privately.

Most visitors come for the coast with its golden beaches and tranquil blue waters where as our aim is to take guests off the beaten track and high into the mountains for a taste of ‘the real Crete’ by supporting local villages, businesses and traditions which otherwise decline over time.

We work in conjunction with most of the major tour operators concentrating on the regulations of the Federation of Tour Operators (FTO) and all our routes are designed to the Health and Safety standards of the European market. We are also labelled by Thomas Cook as a “Locally Greece” tour providing maximum benefit to communities and the environment, both economically and socially.

We’re always looking to improve the service we provide and all feedback is welcomed and appreciated.
