This day is the best way to explore the south of the island with its traditional villages, forests, gorges . Explore the mythology, flora, fauna and local life of Crete.

We start our journey along the coastal road of Mirabello Bay before we head into the mountains for our first stop where you have a magnificent view of the Cretan and Lybian sea, we will stop for a coffee in one of the traditional villages, before we keep driving to reach the Sarakina gorge. Here you will have free time to explore the gorge before we continue to the village of Christos with its local water sources.

From there we will make our way through the Selakano forest the biggest remaining forest on the island, one quick stop to a local spring of water and we move on to enjoy the views at lofty heights before arriving at Katharo, where a delicious traditional lunch awaits us, with as much Cretan wine and water as you would like. From there we continue to Kritsa where you will have free time to explore why the village was awarded a Golden Star for its olive oil as well as its village life and culture.
