Our day is the perfect way to explore the southwest part of Attika from mountains and monasteries to beautiful lakes.
Our journey starts by visiting a local Shepard and enjoy traditional hospitality and home cheese making process.
Dirt tracks and forests is the scenery that leads us to Loutraki, a sea side resort on the gulf of Corinth, whilst here we have time to enjoy a coffee and go for a little walk at the beach.
Back in the vehicles again and we come to our next stop the monastery of Osios Patapios where you have a wonderful view of the magnificent gulf of Corinth and time to explore the monastery with the chapel of St. Mary of Egypt.
We pass through small traditional villages full of character and interest towards the beautiful scenery at the archaeological site of Heraion of Perachora where you can make wonderful photos from the sanctuary and the great view!
After getting dusty and dirty a swim at Vouliagmani Lake will be very welcomed?! you will encounter the calm, crystal waters of the lagoon, admire the pine forests that reach down to the banks and the backdrop of the Gerania mountains that rise to its side.
Working up an appetite, walking back from the lake we stop for a traditional local meal with unlimited wine. After lunch, we drive towards the Corinth Canal that connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea, for one last stop.
This is a day full of many surprises and the excitement is second to none, you certainly won’t forget your fun day out with SAFARI CLUB!!
